Pro Bono Designs - Free Website Development for Charities, Volunteer Organizations, and NPOs

Thank you to all who have applied requesting websites as well as those who have volunteered to help. Unfortunately I am too busy to continue designing more sites - I can only maintain those I have already built. I am also uncertain about how to connect volunteers with organizations requesting websites because I cannot ensure the quality of the work, the longevity of the work, or ensure the integrity of the volunteers. My greatest concern is that an organization is scammed by a thief posing as a volunteer. I do not have the time, energy, or legal expertise to handle such situations. I also know that these organizations don't simply need a website - they need news updates. I have no clue how to guarantee that a designer will not only build a high-quality website, but maintain it for at least 1 year free of charge. Because I have very little time or power to oversee these projects, I am putting the website on hiatus. If you have questions or comments, please feel free to email me. I am hoping that eventually I will find more time to put into this project, but for the time being I will consider handing over the domain name if somebody is truly dedicated to making this something more.
